Has anyone been able to access the zero VAT on energy saving measures incentive scheme, as described in VAT Notice 708/6
Briefly: if you have a contractor installing ESM, e.g. insulation, then the cost of the supply and install of the measure will be zero VATable.
This is clearly a significant saving of 20% potentially.
So: has anyone had a contractor who has applied this? (it needs to be the installer who does it, since they are the ones charging you the VAT).
