It looks as though you will have to re-enter the parameters yourself.

Yes I’ve done that but previous experience with the register is that this is not a guarantee of good work. If anyone has used one of them I’d be interested.

I have to agree with you on that. The MCS database and its search engine are both poor. Just because someone has passed the registration criteria doesn’t mean that they will do a good job. It does, however, mean that they will do an expensive one.
@Ian If you have a Smart Energy Solar Thermal System I would recommend Richard Armitage 07713 62 6272 He lives in North Wales but travels all over England and Wales servicing and repairing Smart Energy solar thermal systems. He used to work for Smart Energy before they went bust.
