I have just taken delivery of a custom frame kit from bamboo bicycle club. This will be a MTB frame, but you can make most types of bikes.
The frame will be made from bamboo tubes, flax fabric and bio resin. The hard mounting areas are aluminium.
I am making this at home, but they do workshops in London.
The kit can also be purchased through cycle to work with components to complete the bike.
Years ago my teacher had a bimboo wheels and frame, he used this for racing.
