I’m about to place an order with Unity Lime for internal wall wood fibre insulation materials and am holding back due to delivery costs (£115) Just wondering if there more local suppliers where I can pick up myself. I’m based in West Yorkshire so after somewhere in the north west and specifically after pavatex isolair and baumit plasters.

Delivery costs can be a bugbear, particularly if the item purchased is not a stock item, you might find that you are paying the cost of delivery to your supplier. When I ordered a loft hatch from Green Building Store the delivery was almost as mush as the hatch. Offering to collect it myself made no difference as it was the cost of delivery from the factory in Germany. A trip to Germany to collect it didn’t seem worth it!
