Hi, I gather it’s possible to get a green grant for a secondary glazed door. We’ve got a 1930s stained glass front door that’s very drafty. Most houses on the street have installed a secondary external door on the porch so i was wondering if anyone knows if this is covered by a grant and any local firms that install in the Gatley area. Secondary glazing is eligible - but you’d need to check your chosen contractor offers it, and many may not.
The challenge here is also that glazing and doors are regarded as ‘secondary measures’. This means you have to spend at least the same amount of money on primary measures as you can spend on secondary measures, which soon depletes your budget.
