Carbon Co-ops 2026 Annual General Meeting, where members have the opportunity to run for board election and steer the democratic direction of Carbon Co-op.
Hi everyone,
It’s that time of year again—our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is coming up on Wednesday, June 24th at 7:00 PM. The event is open to members and non-members alike (although only members will be able to vote).
We’re keeping this session online and strictly focused on the quick procedural bits that keep our co-operative running smoothly. We will be reviewing the past year, presenting the 2024/2025 accounts, voting on our standard annual auditor resolution, and holding our board elections.
Step up for the Board
We are particularly keen for Carbon Co-op members from under-represented groups to stand for election this year. We want our leadership to reflect the rich diversity of our membership, so please consider standing if you want to help steer our future carbon reduction and energy justice work!
What about the social side?
Because an online legal meeting isn’t the best place to properly catch up, we are saving the fun stuff for later. We are currently planning a much more relaxed, in-person member social event for later this summer where we can connect face-to-face. Keep an eye out for a ‘save the date’ on that very soon.
For the AGM itself, please grab a free ticket via Eventbrite so we can track numbers for a quorum and send you the virtual joining instructions:
See you online on the 24th!
