Advice on insulating under ground floor floorboards

Hi, I had an opportunity to get under the floor. The house is on a hill sloping down from front to back. It is apparent that at some point in the recent past, one of the owners raised the ground level at the back door to eliminate step access. In so doing they covered the air brick and breached the damp proof course. Hence the condensation etc

On the bright side you can reclaim some copper!

That should be relatively easy to fix, so long as the timbers haven’t been damp too long. A precautionary anti fungal treatment might be a good idea if you aren’t replacing the whole floor anyway.

Wood treatment applied as there were early signs of localised sporadic damage. Not sure how long it will take to dry out - probably months. I might try monitoring progress

Got to the last section of floor and found other issues - for a few pence more! If the pipes were a few inches longer

prolonged water damage

That drain is appalling. A basic survey should have revealed the damage if not the cause.
